Contacts, are company's collaborators to whom you try to sell your product and/or services using Webmecanik Pipeline. All the activities related to these contacts are logged on the contact activity stream.
Contacts creation possibilities
Contacts can be created by different way:
- Manual creation from the user interface
- Creation by importing a .csv file
- Creation by API
Add/create contacts from user interface
You need to have permission to create contact. More information about user rights in this article.
- Click on Contacts menu, to list all your contacts.
- Click the top right Add a contact button, it will open the contact creation side bar.
- Fulfil the the information and click on bottom right Validate button.
During the contact creation, you will have the opportunity to fulfil native and custom fields data depending on the configuration you will have done about the contacts page edition.
Some fields might be mandatory, you will have to add a value in this field to be able to finalise the contact creation.
Add/create contacts from company page
When you display a company page, you have the ability to create a contact to assign it directly to the current company (in the case you have been creating the company before the contact).
- From company page, click the top right button Create a contact.
- The contact creation side bar with all same contact creation constraints.
- Fulfil the the information and click on bottom right Validate button.
