Import contacts

Users with permission to upload data by .csv files into Webmecanik Pipeline can import contacts from spreadsheet (like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet, etc.) to create contacts in the software.

Import contacts list from .csv file

From the user interface:

1. Click the Configuration menu top right.
2. In the left sub-menu, click Import.
3. Select your .csv file to import where your contacts are listed and click Import file.
4. A new screen will be displayed asking you to map your .csv columns with the Wemecanik Pipeline contact, company and opportunity fields.
5. Click then on Assign fields to start importing data.

Mapping owners

It is possible to import owners for each contact. The Owner field is available in your CSV mapping during import. The expected value in the field is the owner's email address.

Please note that owners must exist in your account before they can be used for mapping. You can create them in the portal here.
