Advanced filters enable you to segment your prospect and customer data in a much more refined and precise way, improving the effectiveness of your communications, while ensuring you reach the ideal customer segment. And all in a very short time!
How do I apply an advanced filter to my contacts/companies?
- Go to the Contacts page.
- Click on Filter my contacts.
- Select Advanced filters.
- In this new window, you can apply a filter based on Contacts, Companies, Opportunities or Activities.

Select Contacts. You can now apply a filter to the contact field you want.
Note that you can add up to 5 advanced filters using the Add button. -
Once the source, field, operator and value have been entered. Click on Apply and Save.

Your filter has now been created and applied to the contact database! 🚀
What operators are available in advanced filters?
- Equals: groups all contacts with the value indicated in this field.
- Not equals: groups all the contacts with a different value than the one indicated in this field.
- Empty : groups all contacts with this field empty.
- Non-empty: groups all contacts with this field not empty.
- Contains: groups all the contacts whose value contains the indicated value.
(⚠️For multiple choice fields, the contact must contain all indicated values) - Does not contain : groups all contacts with a value that does not contain the indicated value.
- Including : groups all contacts including the indicated value.
- Excluding : groups all contacts excluding the indicated value.
- Starts with : groups all contacts whose value starts with the indicated value.
- Ends with : groups all the contacts whose value ends with the indicated value.
