Webmecanik Automation forms are very useful to gather informations from your contacts.
But if you work with professionals you should have no interest for mass market email domain provider like gmail or Yahoo
Webmecanik Automation allows you to block specific domain on form submission.
So if a contact wants to submit a form with a gmail.com address for example he will be prompt to use another address with a custom message.
To activate this functionality follow those two steps :
First, go in the configuration menu and then in the “Forms settings” menu.
Here you can use the field to add domain name you wish to block.
You can enter a complete email address or the whole domain name after the “@”
For example : johnsmith@gmail.com or *yahoo.com to block all email address with @yahoo.com
Create or edit a form :
- Create an email field
- In the email field go to Validation tab
- Activate the “Domain name submission filter” button. You can personalize the error message sent when a forbidden submission is make. (Validation message field)
- Add the configure field and finish your form
Your form now blocks email addresses you don’t want.
