Want to get a comprehensive overview of your contact capture performance? This guide details how to configure your data sources and generate a consolidated report of all your form submissions in Webmecanik Automation.
βοΈ Prerequisite: Enable form results as a data source
To leverage your form responses in the reports module, a global option must first be enabled on your instance:
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner, then select Configuration.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Form Settings.
- Locate the Form result settings section and toggle the switch for "Use form result as report data sources" to Yes.
- Click on Save & Close in the top right corner.
π οΈ Creating the consolidated submissions report
Once the data source is active, configure your tracking table:
- Go to the left sidebar menu, click on Reports, then New.
- In the Details tab, give your report a clear name (e.g., Global submissions tracking).
- In the Data Source dropdown menu, select Forms Form Submissions.
- Next, open the Data tab:
- Add the desired columns to your view (for example: ID, Contact ID, Date submitted, and Contact email).
- Set up the grouping: select the ID column in the Group by section.
- Apply the calculation function: on this same ID column, choose the COUNT function. This will automatically calculate the total number of submissions associated with each form.
- Click on Save & Close.
π‘ Good to know
- History and time filters: If some recent results seem to be missing, check the time frame. By default, reports apply a rolling window of the last 30 days. Go to the Filters tab to set a broader time period if necessary.
- Total volume: The cumulative sum of all submissions (across all forms) is automatically calculated at the very bottom of the table.
