In Webmecanik Automation you can manage how your contact’s owner are assigned to each of yours contacts.
The Owner manager feature allows you to assign an owner to contacts using custom actions and triggers.
ACTIVATE FEATURE :
To activate this feature on your instance go on the plugin page :
Click on the “Owner Manager” plugin and publish it
The feature is now active !
FEATURE CONFIGURATION :
Once the plugin is activated, you will see a new option in the left menu
Open this menu to create your trigger managing your owner assignment
Click on “New” top right to create a new trigger.
Choose a name for your trigger
Then the “changer owner” field allows you to choose which owner will be assigned when the action is triggered.
The “When a contact…” allows you to choose the action trigger :
You have 4 different triggers, 2 links to contacts and 2 links to pages :
- “Contact field changed”
Allows you to modify the contact owner when one of the contact’s custom field is changed
- “Points changed to value higher”
Allows you to change the contact owner when the contact’s points reach or overstep the value.
- Visits a landing page
Allows you to to change the contact owner when a contact visits a landing page
- visits specific tracking URL
Allows you to change the contact owner when a contact visits a tracked URL
CONFIGURE EACH ACTION TYPE :
“Contact field changed”
Select this option to see its parameters :
- Choose the custom field with the “Updated Contact Field”
- Then choose the value that will trigger in the “Changed to” field
- Finally choose if you want this action to be repeatable or not
Points changed to value higher
Select this option to see its parameters :
Simply add the points stage beyond the contact’s owner will be assigned.
Visits a landing page
Select this option to see its parameters :
Choose the pages from which visit will modify the contact owner. Leave the field empty to select all the landing pages.
By default the action will be triggered on each page visit. Activate the “Execute on each one time” option to limit the trigger to the first visit.
visits specific tracking URL
Select this option to see its parameters :
Enter the page URL that will trigger the action. You can enter multiple addresses with a coma separator. You can also use * as a wildcard to cover multiple pages
Choose if the action is repeatable or not.
You can also choose if the action will be applied to existing contacts or not with the dedicated option :
Note that for contacts imported you will have to activate this option so the action are triggered for them.
Validate your action when your setup is complete.
You will be sent back to the action list :
You can directly see which contact owner is assigned by an action in the “Assign owner” column
You can see the contact owner change directly in the contact history for a long term follow-up.
You can use this feature with the contact history log share to boost your market strategy.
