How can I group my contacts by postal code?

Grouping contacts by their postal code is a feature that comes up regularly when using marketing automation software such as Webmecanik Automation.

In order to find and group all the postcodes in our segment, we use an advanced formula, allowing us to retrieve the first digits of these.

To do this, nothing could be easier, go to the segment tab

• In the filters, select your custom field, here Zipcode
• Then insert this formula by replacing with your postal codes

  ^(value|value|value|)\d{3}$

• Be careful to always use "|" as a separator

Thanks to this formula, we have grouped all the contacts belonging to the departments of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
