How to send reports by emails?

With Webmecanik Automation, you can send customized reports directly by email, on a one-off or recurring basis.

Send a punctual report

• Go to your Report tab and the desired report.
• Select your date range in the tab at the top of your report
  
• Click on the chevron at top right and select Export to CSV & Send
  
• The report is sent directly to your inbox.
• Note that the CSV is sent directly as an email attachment except:
  If the csv is larger than 4.7mo , it is zipped and sent as an attachment.
  If the zip is larger than 4.7mo , it is sent as a download link.

Send a report repeatedly

• Go to your Report tab and the desired report
• Click on Modify
• In the Schedule tab, check the "yes" box to send this report by e-mail
  
• You will then discover a new menu for setting up your report by email.
  
• Define the destination email address, the frequency of sending and the time slot for your report.
  
• Once set, click on Save & Close.
• Your personalized report will then be sent to you on the next date in your delivery schedule! 🚀

What happens if my report is too heavy?

When using very large databases, it's possible that your export is too heavy to be generated immediately.

You then have two options available to remedy this:

• Export and Send the report when it's ready. This can take up to a few hours.
• Redefine your date range to lighten your report.
