Customise activity types

You Webmecanik Pipeline account starts with 4 default activity types, simples but representing most used activities in B2B relationship.

Activities helps you to log interactions with your contacts, companies and opportunities.

Moreover, you can configure your own custom activity types.

Create custom activity types

1. Browser the top left Configuration menu.
2. Then reach the Activity type left sub menu.

From there, you have 4 possible actions:

• Create a new type
• Enable a type
• Disable a type
• Edit an existing type

Create and edit activity type

From the configuration menu, click the Add bouton to create a new activity type. You will have to fulfil the following settings:

1. Your activity type name
2. The icon you want to use for this type
3. A color

After creating it, you will find the new activity type once you create an activity.

To edit an activity type from the configuration menu, click the pencil icon button.

Enable (or disable) an activity type to display (or hide) it when creating an activity

From the configuration menu, you can drag and drop activity types and sort them the way you want.

All the activities belonging to a disabled type will keep staying visible from the contacts, companies and opportunities timelines.

Delete an activity type

When you edit a type, you have the ability to delete the type itself. Warning, this action will delete all the activities belonging to this type. If you want to keep them in history, you better disable the type instead of deleting it.
