Save time and easily reach an international audience! Webmecanik Automation allows you to automatically translate your email content using artificial intelligence, right inside the editor. ๐
๐ Steps to Generate an AI Translation
Creating a multilingual version of your email takes just a few clicks:
- Go to the detail page of the email you want to translate.
- At the top left, click the badge showing the current language of your email (for example, "French").
- In the dropdown menu, click Create translation with AI.
A setup window will open to configure your new language:
- Translate from: Select your source content (the language of your original email).
- Translate to: Choose the target language (for example, "English").
- Translate content with AI: Ensure the toggle is switched to Yes.
- Click Create translation to start the process.
โ๏ธ How Does Translation Work Behind the Scenes?
To keep your account organized, Webmecanik Automation handles content management automatically. When using this feature:
- Your original email is duplicated.
- The content is translated into the target language.
- The newly translated version is directly attached to the original email through the "Is a translation of" field, maintaining a clean structure for your multilingual campaigns.
โ ๏ธ Best practice: As with any AI-generated content, always review and double-check the translation before sending to verify accuracy and tone.
๐ฏ How to Send the Right Language to the Right Contact
The main advantage of this feature is that you do not need to create multiple complex segments.
You can simply send your original email to your entire contact segment. Webmecanik Automation automatically delivers the correct language version to each recipient!
The translation displayed to the recipient depends entirely on what is stored in their Preferred locale contact field. If this field is empty, Webmecanik will use the language of the contact's browser.
Concrete Example
If a contact has "English" set in their Preferred locale field, they will automatically receive the English version of your email. If the field is empty or contains a language for which no translation exists, the system automatically sends the default email (the original language version).
