How do I edit the status of opportunities?

Your Webmecanik Pipeline is created with a default opportunities Pipeline, simple and representing most of the sales processes.

Opportunities will move forward in your sales Pipeline following the statuses. This helps you to simply visualise your opportunities depending on their closing status.

Those statuses are applicable to most of sales activities. Nevertheless, you are not obligated to follow this sales process. In fact, maybe you have a shorter sales process or more complex.
This is why you can configure your own sales Pipeline view by customising opportunities statuses as you like it.

Edit opportunities Pipeline statuses

1. Go to the top right Configuration menu.
2. Then go to Custom Statuts on the left.

From there you have 5 possibilities:

• Create new statuses
• Enable statuses
• Disable statuses
• Modify statuses order
• Modify the conclusion rates of the statutes

Create a new opportunity status

From the custom statuses configuration menu, fulfill a new status requested information and click the Add button.

The newly created status will be invisible by default (right column) et sera indiqué comme étant un champ personnalisé.

You can rename your custom status by clicking its name and modifying it. It is not possible to rename a default status.

Enable (or disable) a status to display (or hide) it from the opportunities Pipeline

To visualise the status in your opportunities Pipeline and to be able to assign this status to your opportunities, you must enable the status.

From the custom statuses configuration menu, drag and drop the targeted status from Disabled Statuses to Enabled Statuses.
Warning: the place where you drop it will have an impact in the statuses hierarchy (see hereunder).

If you want to disable a status, default or custom, just do the opposite drag and drop move.

Change statuses hierarchy

When you handle your opportunities from the Pipeline view, statuses' hierarchy is very important. Statuses are displayed from left to right depending on their hierarchy. From the newly created opportunity to the closed or lost opportunity.

To modify the order of the statuses in the Pipeline, go back to the custom statuses configuration menu and drag and drop statuses until they are ordered the way you expect.

Modify closing rates for statuses

Webmecanik Pipeline offers you an estimate of the earnings for your opportunities. They are based on rates that you can set in your software in the Configurations of your opportunity statuses.
