With Webmecanik Automation, you can automate your emails.
What are the different types of emails ?
When creating new email, you can choose between to type of emails:
- Template emails,
- Segment emails.
Template email
These emails can be sent only from campaigns, form or point triggers.
You will find it when adding "Send email" action in campaigns, or when adding "Send email" action through forms or point triggers.
It is automatically sent when contacts reach a certain step of campaign scenario or when they submit forms. It is not possible to manually send a template email.
Segment email
These emails have to be sent manually. That means the user has to click on send.
Segment emails are easily identifiable with the diagram logo next to the name of the email.
When creating a segment email, there is a new mandatory field to fill which is "Contact segment". This is where you will choose the segments that will receive emails.
Once the segment email is created, before sending emails you will see (in the list of email) a new badge "X pending". It shows the number of contacts that will receive the email. It can be different from the segment number because this number remove unsubscribed or bounces contacts.
Segment emails are often use when there is no need to make a campaign scenario, for example when you send your monthly newsletter.

Statistics of both types of email are quite the same, for segment email you will see statistics for all all segments.
