Within Automation, you can use the decision "Reply to emails". This need a little bit of settings from your side first.
Inded, you need to monitore email address to check if the contact replies to your automation email. So you need to set an IMAP email address.
There are 2 setting modes:
- You track emails from only one email address,
- You track emails from at least two different email address.
Trace answers from a single email address
You need to have a from email address (that will be put as reply to and in copy in your emails) that can be set in IMAP (it won't work with Gmail or Yahoo address).
Configure your IMAP server to your Webmecanik Automation instance by going on the configuration > email settings > Monitored Inbox Settings > Contact Replies .
Set Use custom connection settings to Yes to access the settings.
Trace answers from at least 2 email address
In that case, you need to monitore many emails address. But you can set only one. So, to avoid this, create an common email address for the Reply To of your Automation emails. On your IMAP server, configure an automatic copy of the sent emails from your from emails (ex: me@mydomain.com) to the common monitored email address (ex: sales@mydomain.com). Most of email providers allow to do that.
If emails are sent from different email address, note that you will have to configure it for all email address.
