How to display a sender name whereas a phone number ?

Webmecanik Automation allows to send SMS. This goes through the native integration with Twilio.

First of all you need to have a Twilio account.

Please check this article to set the Twilio integration.

Per default, the sender is always a phone number. However, you can customize the send with a name.

Please note that this feature can only work if you have a paid account for Twilio.

Click here to set the Alphanumeric sender ID in Twilio.

To make it work within Automation, this name has to be filled in the Twilio plugin.

To do so:

• Connect to your Automation instance and go on the "Plugins" section by clicking on the gear at the top right corner.
• Once in the Twilio plugin, go on the "Features" tab and fill the field "Sending Phone Number" with your custom name that you set in Twilio.
