How do I set up Text Messages?

Prerequisites: Text messages sending cannot be managed directly from Webmecanik, you must have an account and install the Twilio plugin.

How do I create a Text Message in Webmecanik Automation?

Once you've set up your Twilio account, simply create an SMS to send to your contacts.

Segment Text Message

1. Go to the Text Messages tab of your Webmecanik instance.
2. Click on +New.
3. Select New Segment Text Message, which is an SMS message you can program and send directly to a segment of contacts.
   
4. On this interface, fill in your various fields, including Name, text to be sent, etc.
   
5. If you wish to add a variable to your SMS, simply type it directly into the SMS field.

   {contactfield=name of your field}

6. Select the Contact segment.
7. Click on Save and Close.
8. Your SMS is ready to be programmed! 🚀

Template Text Message

1. Go to the Text Messages tab of your Webmecanik instance.
2. Click on +New.
3. Select New Template Text Message.
4. Fill in the various fields. You can also use the variables mentioned above.
5. When you're ready, click Save and Close.
6. Next, go to the Campaign tab.
7. In the generator, select your segment/form and check the Send text message campaign action.
   
8. You can now select your Text message. You can also create a new one with the feature + New Text Message.
   
9. Once the campaign has been published, your SMS messages will be sent to contacts! 🚀

SMS statistics

Statistics are available in the SMS tab with the following statuses:

Pending: list of contacts in the segment who will receive the SMS.

Sent: lists contacts who have received the SMS.

Delivered: lists all contacts who have correctly received the SMS.

Failed: lists all contacts whose SMS has not been delivered.
