Before launching a campaign, we advise you to test it to check the scenario.
It is better to have a test segment that you integrate as the first source of the campaign.
In this segment, you can add test contacts. For example contacts with you professional email or personal email.
When your campaign is all set, you just need to publish it to make it start.
When testing your campaigns, you can remove all time limit (if you added some) to test all your different actions/conditions/decisions.
Once your campaign has started, you'll receive the 1st email (if this is the 1st action). We advise you to log out from your Webmecanik Automation interface.
Once the email received, if you added some decisions like "click email" or "visits a page", it is better to open email's link into an incognito browser. It will avoid mix up your session and cookies from your instance. Otherwise it may happen that your contact is not tracked properly.
When contacts have finished all the scenario, they cannot go back at the beginning of the same campaign.
If you need to test again the campaign, the best thing to do is to delete your contact, create it again and add it once more to the test segment. Then it will be a new contact so you will be able to start again the campaign.
