When your contacts progress through a campaign scenario, you can visually interact with them in real-time by displaying a targeted pop-in directly on your website. Webmecanik Automation allows you to trigger this action completely automatically.
Prerequisite: Before you begin, you must have previously configured and published your pop-in in the dedicated section of your instance.
Here is the step-by-step guide to integrating this trigger into your workflow:
1. The Golden Rule: The "Visits a page" Decision
Please note: The action to display a pop-in is not available by default in the generic campaign actions list. You will not find it if you look for it directly.
To be able to use it, your scenario must first record a specific behavior on your website. Therefore, you must insert a "Visits a page" decision into your campaign builder first.
2. Configuring the Action in the Scenario
Once the page visit decision is added, position yourself on its positive branch (the green / "Yes" path).
Click the button to add an element: the "Show pop-in" action is now unlocked and visible.
Select this action, then choose the corresponding pop-in from the drop-down list.
Save your changes.
How does it work in practice?
As soon as a contact engaged in your campaign visits the webpage you defined, Automation validates the decision, follows the positive branch, and instantly triggers the appearance of the pop-in on the visitor's screen.
🚀 The major technical advantage: In this specific case, you absolutely do not need to copy and paste the specific pop-in script into your website's source code! The Automation campaign action takes care of dynamically injecting everything for you.
