The multi-pipeline feature in Webmecanik Pipeline allows you to adapt your sales processes to different customer types, products, or teams.
Here is how to set up and manage multiple sales pipelines in your account.
⚙️ 1. Creating and configuring a new pipeline
To structure a new sales process, go to your account Configuration, then click Pipeline Management.
- Click the blue + Add a pipeline button.
- Enter the name of your pipeline in the pop-up window and confirm.
- On the pipeline editing page, customize the following settings:
- Icon: assign a distinctive visual icon to quickly identify the pipeline in the interface.
- Visibility (Access rights): select the users or teams authorized to view and manage this pipeline. By default, administrators maintain access to all pipelines.
- Default pipeline: enable this option if you want this pipeline to display by default upon login or when creating opportunities.
🔄 2. Managing custom statuses (Multi-pipeline)
Sales stages (statuses) are shared across your entire account.
💡 Good to know: If you create or modify a custom status in one pipeline, it automatically becomes available across all your other pipelines. You can reorganize active or inactive statuses according to your sales team's global needs.
🎯 3. Navigating and filtering your opportunities
Using multiple pipelines directly impacts how you view your opportunities on a daily basis:
Switching from one pipeline to another
From the board, list, or calendar view of your opportunities, use the drop-down menu located at the top left to switch from one pipeline to another in one click.
Using advanced filters
If you need to isolate specific opportunities, open Advanced Filters and add the condition
Opportunity > Pipeline > equals > [Name of your pipeline]. This allows you to combine pipeline criteria with other filters (amount, owner, closing date, etc.).📊 4. Viewing statistics by pipeline
The Analytics module adapts to your multi-pipeline setup:
- A dedicated selector at the top left lets you isolate metrics (number of companies, open opportunities, forecast revenue) for a specific pipeline.
- You can also select All pipelines to get a consolidated view of your entire sales activity.
⚠️ 5. Deleting a pipeline and managing linked opportunities
Deleting a pipeline is done from its edit page (Settings > Pipeline Management). When clicking Delete pipeline, a confirmation window presents two critical choices:
- Migrate opportunities to another pipeline: select a destination pipeline from the drop-down list to transfer all ongoing deals.
- Do not migrate opportunities (and delete them): this option permanently deletes the pipeline as well as all associated opportunities.
⚠️ Warning: Permanent deletion
Deleting without migration leads to the irreversible loss of history and data for associated opportunities. Make sure you have exported or moved your important data before confirming.
