The Opportunity Summary is a smart feature designed to give you an instant overview of your ongoing deals. No more wasting time scrolling through history to understand a case!
How does the AI summary work?
The AI analyzes your opportunity data (activities, dates, amounts, and contacts) to automatically draft four key sections:
Context: The core of the offer and the main point of contact.
Key History: Major changes in dates or stages.
Current Situation: The precise status at this exact moment.
Next Steps: Planned actions to move the sale forward.
What are the requirements to generate a summary?
For the AI to provide relevant insights, it needs "fuel." The summary will only be generated if at least 5 fields in the opportunity are completed or, the opportunity has an activity.
We recommend filling in at least:
Opportunity name.
Estimated amount.
Pipeline stage.
Associated contact.
Expected closing date (or a logged activity).
Why is the "Update" button greyed out?
This is a common question! To optimize resources and ensure data accuracy:
The summary cannot be updated unless the opportunity has been modified since the last generation.
If no information has changed (no stage update, no new notes, no date changes, etc.), the AI considers the current summary still valid. As soon as you modify a field, the button will become active again.
Tips for a Better Summary
Be precise in your activities: The clearer your call or meeting logs are, the more accurate the "Current Situation" section will be.
Keep your dates updated: The AI automatically detects date postponements, allowing you to see at a glance if a deal is stalling (as seen in the Key History section).
