How to use a token in the subject of an email ?

You can customize the subject of an email with a dynamic field.

When creating an email, you want for example customize the subject of your email according to the firstname of your contact.

1) The contact has a value entered in his firstname field

In the subject you must write the following token : {contactfield=firstname} You must write it entirely as there is no assistant like in the builder.

2) The contact does not have a valued entered in his firstname field

In the subject you must entirely write the following token : {contactfield=firstname|Text per default}

When contacts will receive the email, the subject will display the contact's firstname if this one is known in Automation or the text per default that you choose if the firstname is not known.
