Account-Based Marketing (ABM) allows you to focus your marketing efforts directly on key accounts and companies, rather than isolated individual contacts.
🎯 Why adopt ABM?
- Identify anonymous prospects: Detect company names behind your anonymous website visitors (requires a dedicated corporate IP).
- Centralize account activity: Track aggregated interactions from all team members belonging to the same company.
- Align Sales and Marketing: Share qualified account-level data with your sales team on Webmecanik Pipeline for targeted outreach.
⚙️ Prerequisites: Feature Activation
The ABM feature is disabled by default as it specifically caters to B2B business models.
📩 To enable ABM on your Webmecanik Automation instance, please submit a request to our support team.
🔍 Create a Segment for Identified Companies
Once activated, create a dedicated segment to isolate companies detected via ABM whose visitors have not yet submitted an email address.
Step 1: Create the segment
- Go to Contacts > Segments.
- Click New in the top right corner.
- Enter a name for your segment (e.g., ABM - Detected Companies).
Step 2: Configure the filters
In the Filters tab, set up the following combination:
- Email
is empty - AND
- Company Name
is not empty
💡 How it works
This filter automatically groups all identified companies visiting your site while their individual visitors remain anonymous. As soon as a contact from that company identifies themselves (e.g., by filling out a form), their profile is enriched and automatically linked to the corresponding company record.
