Campaigns are the core of Webmecanik Automation. There are many actions/decisions/conditions that help to create simple or complex scenarios.
In this article, we will see a specific action that allows contact to jump from an event to another one. With this action, you'll gain time while creating your campaigns because it will avoid to repeat all negative branches with the same path than positive branches. Contacts that have followed negative branches could go back in a certain event to follow a previous positive branch.
How does the action "Jump to event" work ?
- Connect to your Webmecanik Automation instance, go on the "Campaigns" section and create a new campaign.
- Build your scenario.
- It can be useful to place the action "Jump to event" at the end of a negative branch that allow the contact to go to a previously positive branch.
- Let see this scenario as an example.
If contact does not open email 1 after two days, he'll follow the negative branch and will receive again email 1. If this time, he opens email 1, he will jump directly to the event send email 2 and could follow this branch.
By adding this action, you will avoid to build the same positive branch in the negative branch so you will gain time when creating your campaign.
