When creating emails, it is possible to change the sender email address (name or domain name)
To do so, you need to create (or edit) emails and click on the advanced tab.
Default settings are always taking into account first. If you want to change this, you need to fill these fields.
"From name" field
The name that will be displayed when receiving emails. If you fill it with a firstname, this firstname will be displayed.
"From address" field
Emails are sent with the emails address set in the settings. If you want to change this email address, fill this fields with the new one. It is possible to fill it with a wrong email address if the domain name is validated on your automation account.
Example : your domain name set is yourdomain.com. Email address per default set is firstname.lastname@example.org. You want to send emails with email@example.com (but this address does not exist for real). No problem to send emails with this address if yourdomain.com is validated. It is possible then to use a different domain name than yours but it has to be validated as well.
In case you want to use a different one, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by telling us what the domain name and we will give you the following steps to do.
"Reply to address" field
Allow contacts to reply to a precise email address.
